Gizem Örge, born on April 26, 1993, Ankara, started playing volleyball at Ankara Eczacı (formerly Batıkent Kültür) at age 12. When she was 15 years old, Gizem moved to Bursa to play for Nilüfer Belediyesi as a libero. The same year, she was chosen for the Turkish Youth National Team.
In despite of Örge transferred to VakıfBank in 2012, she continued to play for Nilüfer Belediyesi as a loaned player. Following year Gizem joined to VakıfBank and became the first libero of the team after 2 season.
With Turkish youth and junior teams, Örge won gold medals at Youth Olympic Games and Balkan Championship and silver medal at 2015 U23 World Championship. As a Turkish Senior National Team member, Gizem Örge won gold medal at 2014 European League.
