Hisamitsu Springs' Miyu Nagaoka keeps the ball alive as libero Sayaka Tsutsui waits for action

Manila, Philippines, October 22, 2016 - Hisamitsu Springs Kobe stopped PSL-F2 Logistics Manila 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) Saturday to enter Sunday's battle for fifth and sixth places against Rexona Sesc Rio de Janeiro in the 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Bannered by Yuki Ishii and Risa Sinnabe, Hisamitsu banged in a total of 45 attacks even as they defended their turf well enough to limit PSL-F2's kill count to 30.

Hisamitsu's Polish reinforcement Maja Tokarska accounted for five of her teams' eight blocks, while the host team blocked thrice in the match that lasted for one hour and ten minutes.

Ishii finished with 16 points, including three aces, while Shinnabe wound up with 14 markers all on attacks. Miyu Nagaoka had 10 points and Tokarska eight for the winning side.

PSL-F2 relied heavily on American Lindsay Stalzer who turned in 15 points.
