Manila, Philippines, October 23, 2016 - Hosts PSL - F2 Logistics Manila will be looking at bowing out of the 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship with a bang when they take on fellow Asians Bangkok Glass, the 2015 Asian champions, for 7th place at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The two sides remained winless after four matches when they both lost their crosswise 5-8 classification matches in straight sets to Rexona Sesc Rio de Janeiro and Hisamitsu Springs Kobe respectively on Saturday.
Each have won one set, though, on both counts against Turkish sides: Bangkok Glass over VakifBank Istanbul and PSL Manila against Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul.
They last clashed at the 2016 Thai-Denmark Super League in Bangkok last March, with the Thai team prevailing 3-1 (23-25, 25-11, 25-16, 25-9) in pool play before going on to claim the title.
Bangkok Glass- Bangkok Glass are making their debut appearance in the FIVB Club World Championships.
- They are the second team from Thailand to compete, after Federbrau Bangkok finished 5th in the 2010 and 2011 editions, both in Doha.
