Hosts hope to go out with a bang in clash for 7th place

Manila, Philippines, October 23, 2016 - Hosts PSL - F2 Logistics Manila will be looking at bowing out of the 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship with a bang when they take on fellow Asians Bangkok Glass, the 2015 Asian champions, for 7th place at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Each have won one set, though, on both counts against Turkish sides: Bangkok Glass over VakifBank Istanbul and PSL Manila against Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul.

They last clashed at the 2016 Thai-Denmark Super League in Bangkok last March, with the Thai team prevailing 3-1 (23-25, 25-11, 25-16, 25-9) in pool play before going on to claim the title.
