MVP Boskovic leads Dream Team of Club Worlds in Manila

Manila, Philippins, October 23, 2016 - Serbia's Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallist Tijana Boskovic was named Most Valuable Player of the 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena, after she led Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul to the title.



She leads a Dream Team of the stars that shone throughout the week in the Philippines capital, thrilling the crowds with some exceptional performances. She was named as opposite on this Dream Team.

Boskovic, 19, is the second Serbian player to claim the award, after Jovana Brakocevic in 2013 for VakifBank Istanbul.

2016 FIVB Club World Championship Dream Team:
- Setter: Carli Lloyd (USA), Pomi Casalmaggiore.
- Opposite: Tijana Boskovic (Serbia), Eczacibasi Vitra Istanbul.
- Outside hitters: Zhu Ting (China), VakifBank Istanbul & Tatiana Kosheleva (Russia), Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul.

Star players of hosts PSL-F2 Logistics Manila, outside hitter Lidsay Stalzter and libero Yuri Fukuda received the special 'Mover of the Game' awards for their contribution to the expanding popularity of volleyball in the Philippines.
