Volero Zurich seek second win to close in on semis

Manila, Philippines, October 19, 2016 - The 2015 bronze medallists Volero Zurich take on Hisamitsu Springs Kobe to get day 2 rolling at the 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship.

Having lost their opening match to VakifBank Istanbul in four sets, the Japanese side need a win to realistically stay alive in the race for a ticket to the semifinals of the competition - which would be a first for them, having twice placed 5th in their previous two appearances at the Club World Championships.

Volero opened their 2016 campaign with a win over Bangkok Glass and another today practically sees them through to the semifinals.

Volero Zurich
