In previous competitions, ball retrievers were located in front of the LED panels. Eventcourt's proposal to put ball retrievers in a new position, assisted by the ball transport system, maximises brand visibility for sponsors and reduces the number of people around the court.
The new ball transport system was tested during the Philippine Superliga (PSL) matches on Saturday, October 8.
“The Philippine Superliga is privileged to be chosen by Eventcourt to test the new ball transport system,” said PSL President Ramon Suzara. “This is just one of the many innovations that will be introduced at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship. Volleyball has gained a big edge over other sports because it continues to make the game interesting for spectators and sponsors through these innovations.”
Spectators at the Club World Championship will be able to cheer for home team PSL-F2 Logistics Manila in a rare opportunity to see a team of local and international players take on the best clubs in the world, including VakifBank Instanbul and Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul of Turkey, Hisamitsu Springs Kobe of Japan, Bangkok Glass of Thailand, Pomi Casalmaggiore of Italy, Volero Zürich of Switzerland and Rexona-Sesc Rio of Brazil.
