Eczacibasi on track to defend world title after win in Istanbul derby

Manila, Philippines, October 22, 2016 - Defending champions Eczacibasi VitrA returned to the championship stage after defeating crosstown Istanbul rivals and 2013 titlists VakifBank 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 25-23) in the first semifinal of the 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.
