Opposite Carmen Turlea was born in Romania, but has spent her whole career in Italy. She arrived in 1997, to play for Parmalat Matera Volley. Since that year, she has played a leading role in several teams in the Serie A League. The major successes in her career include victory in the CEV Cup, two Italian Cups, and two Italian Leagues; the last coming with Piacenza with Gianni Caprara as coach, the same coach who convinced her to sign for Pomì.
