Melis Durul, born on October 21, 1993, İstanbul, started to play volleyball at Es Spor. After five years in this club, Melis moved to Eczacıbaşı and played for this club for three years. After joining Sarıyer Belediyesi and spending three seasons for the club, Melis became a member of VakıfBank just before 2016-2017 volleyball season.
The spiker was a member of national team that has won silver medal at 2010 Junior Balkan Championship, gold medal at 2014 CEV European League and silver medal at 2015 U23 World Championship. Melis Durul also won 1 Turkish Cup and 1 Turkish Super Cup.
