Naz Aydemir Akyol was born on Augustus 14, 1990 in Istanbul, Turkey. Naz, started to play volleyball at Eczacıbaşı Youth Academy. The setter has played in all age group stages at that club until 2009 has achieved many achievements in the youth academy where she has won the Turkish League 3 times and Turkish Cup once with the senior team. When she was transferred to Fenerbahçe in 2009, together with the team she has won the FIVB Club World Championship once, CEV Champions League once, Turkish League twice and the Turkish Super Cup twice. 
Naz was transferred to VakıfBank before the 2012-2013 season. The team and Naz have achieved to won 2013 FIVB Club World Championship, 2013 CEV Champions League, 2013, 2014 and 2016 Turkish League, 2013 and 2014 Turkish Cup and 2013 and 2014 Turkish Super Cup while playing at VakıfBank Sports Club. The successful young setter got married in 2013.
Naz, has participated in all age group stages of the national team, the setter won the Balkan Championship, was 2nd in World Championship with Junior National Team, was Balkan Champion twice and was 3rd in European Championship with Youth National Team. 
Naz still plays for the Senior National Team since the age of 16 where she was first picked to participate. Together with the Turkish National Team, Naz won a bronze medal on World Grand Prix, two silver medals on CEV European League, two silver medals on Mediterranean Games and a gol medal on European Games. Naz also was a member of the Turkish National Team, participated in 2012 London Olympic Games. She has graduated from İstanbul Bilgi University Advertising undergraduate program.
