Gözde Kırdar, was born on June 26, 1985, Kütahya, begun to play volleyball at age 11 in Kütahya Termikspor. In 1999 she moved to İstanbul to join VakıfBank youth team. From that day she is carrying yellow-black jersey and is the team captain over seven years. She has graduated from Maltepe University Visual Communication Design undergraduate program.
The ex-Turkish national team spiker has won two gold medals of Junior Balkan Championship and a gold medal of Mediterranean Games with national team. She has also won bronze medals in 2011 CEV Championship and 2012 FIVB World Grand Prix. Kırdar, was also participated in 2012 London Olympic Games with national team.
Gözde is one of the main character of VakıfBank history, no doubt. She can be seen a lot of victory photo of the club, such as 1 FIVB Club World Championship, 2 CEV Champions League, 5 Turkish League, 2 Turkish Cup, 2 Turkish Super Cup. Also she won one silver medal in FIVB Club World Chapionship and two CEV European Champions League with her team.
