Team profile

PSL - F2 Logistics Manila

The Philippine SuperLiga All-Stars are the hosts of the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship.

The All-Star team, attracting players from the Philippine SuperLiga complemented by invited foreign stars, was first formed to represent the country in the fourth edition of the Thai-Denmark Super League earlier this year.

The PSL All-Stars lost their three pool matches in the competition in Bangkok, finishing joint seventh out of the eight participating teams. In an exhibition match, they did, however, beat Hong Kong (the only other foreign team in the event) in straight sets.

Philippine volleyball fans can look forward to seeing local heroines Mika Aereen Reyes, Alyja Dapnie Santiago and captain Rachel Anne Daquis in action. Foreign reinforcements Yevgeniya Nyukhalova, Ekaterina Krivets, and Lindsay Stalzer will help the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship debutants with their international experience.

Krivets claimed silver with Dinamo Krasnodar in last year's competition, while Nyukhalova grabbed a historic bronze medal with multiple Swiss champions Volero Zürich.
